Grace Alie - Production Designer - Member of ADG 800 

Grace Alie is based in Los Angeles and has worked as a Production Designer for over 10 years. Her work has been recognized with multiple films receiving festival nominations as well as designing the Emmy nominated, Pen15. Originally from Chicago and a graduate of the Art Institute of Portland, Grace follows her passion for design as a tool for storytelling. She continues to weave the complexity of real life into the narrative world with every project. Grace's inspiration began with art house and dark comedy films. She was, and still is, drawn to the way they brought real life emotions to screen with colorful and sometimes surreal backdrops and characters. 

Traveling around the U.S. and the world, Grace has worked on Commercials, TV and Film from India, Bolivia, Belize to Pittsburgh and Atlanta. Grace is adept in finding the essence of each character and story, while her collaborative effort and creative vision speak for themselves. No matter where the job is located, she is resourceful and never loses sight of which details to fight for. Grace is passionate about her craft and tries to find the heart at the center of each job.
